Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. What we collect

We collect the data you give us directly: your name, email address, and the websites you add to Codicer. We also collect the pages we crawl during audits and the results of those audits.

2. How we use it

Your data is used to run the platform: performing SEO audits, generating AI fixes and content, tracking rankings and showing your analytics. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-party services

We use third parties to power specific features: AI providers (OpenAI, OpenRouter or whichever provider you configure) process the prompts you trigger; Google services (Search Console, PageSpeed, Chrome UX Report) provide the data you explicitly connect; Stripe processes payments. Each provider processes data under its own terms.

4. Your content

Your audits, keywords and generated content belong to you. Deleting a project removes its audits and related data from our database.

5. Cookies & sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, a theme preference cookie, and a consent cookie. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our cookie policy for details.

6. Data retention

Your account data is kept as long as your account is active. Audits, keywords and reports are kept so you can compare history; deleting a project removes its data permanently. You can request a full copy of your data or deletion at any time by emailing us.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We protect your data with HTTPS, hashed passwords, and minimal access. Connected API keys (Search Console, WordPress, GitHub, Stripe) are stored encrypted-side and never shown back to you.

9. Contact
